Arts Award inspires young people to grow their artistic and leadership talents, but above all, the qualification is both valuable and accesible. Arts Award can be achieved at five levels, four accredited qualifications and an introductory award. Arts Award is recognised by the National Qualification Framework.

 

We currently offer Arts Award Discover and Arts Award Explore for ages seven to ten. We also offer the Bronze and Silver Arts Award for ages eleven to twenty five.

 

We aim to offer the Gold Arts Award in 2014. Entrants will achieve a nationally recognised Level three qualification. Gold Arts Award is also recognised on the UCAS Tariff (35 points).

 

We aim to lead a good majority of students throughout all the Arts Award levels. Doing so, students will develop skills, confidence and self-awareness that can assist in gaining placements in college, university, apprenticeships and working life in general.

 

Arts Award is offered through Bad Wolf Theatre Company and Angel Performance Arts classes in association with The Mart Theatre.
